Page, Sam and Janet your folks were long-time good friends with my own parents (Red & Martha) and always two of my favorites among the old Supper Club group from years ago in Houston. Lots of happy memories of them, and my love and prayers go out to you as I believe that Heaven surely holds another beautiful soul.

June welcomed me back to bible study when my (now) college girl was a toddler-many of us were struggling to make it with "homework" done & she was unfailingly gracious & relaxed, loving the harried moms into wanting never to miss the peace/shalom of her study group! I loved and respected her greatly, what a warm heart shining the love of Jesus to all. May God comfort all her family with the impact she made here on earth on so many, she was truly a "friend of God".

We had the pleasure of driving June to Covenant on Sundays many times over the last decade. We were always impressed by her sharp wit and the detail she recalled from her life. It was always a pleasure to visit with her, particularly after any Texas/Baylor sporting event! There is no doubt that June left a lasting impression on everyone she met. We will miss her.

I only met Mrs. Johnson about a year ago, but in that time I've been visiting and singing to her every couple of weeks. I was always so impressed with her intelligence, kindness, her positive attitude and especially the twinkle in her eye! Sometimes we'd talk politics and other times she'd just listen to me sing. Hymns were her favorites and it pains me that I never got to sing "The Old Rugged Cross" for her, which I only recently learned at her request. I'll never hear it without thinking of her, just as I'll never hear "In the Good Old Summertime" without substituting the song she taught me and with which we ended every visit: "That Good Old Baylor Line.." Sic 'em, Bears!
