Kathryn P. Tobin, age 72, of Amesbury, passed on Sunday evening, October 5, 2025, at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Boston on February 10, 1953, she was the daughter of the late John and Dorothea (Denvir) Tobin and was a graduate of Georgetown High School. Kathryn was an Administrative Assistant with the Department of Mental Health for many years, taking great pride in the work that she did. In retirement, she loved spending time with her beloved cats and close friends.
She will always be remembered by her loving son, Michael A. Tobin of Exeter, NH; her siblings, John Tobin and wife Evelyn, Phyllis Tobin McEvoy and Leslie Tobin, several generations of nieces and nephews who were very dear to her heart, and many longtime friends. In addition to her parents, she was also pre-deceased by her sister, Dorothy Liberty.
Visiting hours will be held on Monday, October 13, 2025, from 5 P.M. to 7 P.M. at Paul C. Rogers Family Funeral Home, 2 Hillside Avenue, Amesbury, MA 01913. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Kathryn’s name to Merrimack River Feline Rescue Society, 63 Elm Street, Salisbury, MA 01952.
