Judith A. (Wykes) Mravic, age 85, of Lawrence, MA, passed peacefully in the early hours of Saturday morning, October 25, 2025, at Mary Immaculate Nursing Restorative Center, where she was known and loved for her wit and sense of humor. She was the beloved wife of the late Brian Mravic.
Born in Aliquippa, Pa., on November 22, 1939, she was the daughter of the late John O. and Helen (Toy) Wykes and was predeceased by her only brother, John Richard Wykes. Judy was a graduate of Aliquippa High School, Class of 1957, where she met her late husband of 40 years, Brian Mravic. Judy earned her associates degree while a wife, mother and homemaker and subsequently worked for many years in banking and consumer affairs, and was an exceptional employee before retiring. Judy loved traveling with her husband and she enjoyed the beach especially Laguna, Ogunquit and Salisbury Beach. Judy was an avid reader from an early age and had a passion for playing Bridge and Bingo.
She is survived by her three children and their spouses: Kathy L. Machurat and husband William of Amesbury, Mass.; Brian K. Mravic and wife Lorraine of Covina, Calif.; and Mark Mravic and wife Melissa Ulloa of Noank, Conn.; six grandchildren who were the love of her life: Jessica Oeltze and her husband Marcel of Trier, Germany; Ethan Machurat and wife Casey of Maplewood, N.J.; Taylor Mravic of Tokyo, Japan; Marco Mravic of San Diego, Calif.; Branko Mravic of New York City; and Dulcinea Ulloa of Noank, Conn.; as well as two great-grandchildren who brought her even more love and joy, Yannik and Emma Oeltze. She is also survived by her loving sister-in law Cheryl Sopko and her husband, David, of Atlanta, GA.
