I met "Waffle" at Pennsic (the largest historical recreation event in the world) sometime in the 1990's. He was also the first "SCAdian" to welcome me to Memphis. I always looked for him at archery practice and Baronial events. He will be greatly missed by many.

Kevin and I were friends also through the SCA. Throughout many years of friendship always knew him to be one of most dedicated, loyal, hard working people one could have the good fortune to meet. He and Kathy Armstrong were both there for me during one of the most trying times ever.
About voting - have to smile knowing we were on the opposite side of Politics. Had planned to Early Vote as soon as Polls opened this morning but now it will have to wait to another day . . .

I knew "Waffle" through the SCA. He was always so welcoming to new people and sharing his passion for the hobby. Waffle had a kind and gentle heart. I plan to honor his wishes and vote in the next election. My sincerest sympathy to the family, Bob Burns
