Kevin A. Henriques, 65, of Kempton, passed away, surrounded by his loving family, on Saturday, July 20, 2024 at his home.
Born September 5, 1958 in York, he was the son of the late Joann (Hoch) Henriques. He and his wife of 38 years, Susan R. (Creciun) Henriques, were married in Ambler, PA on December 22, 1985.
Kevin served his country honorably and faithfully in the United States Navy from 1976 to 1980.
Kevin worked in maintenance for the Pennsylvania Turnpike. He also spent years driving truck for various companies. Kevin attended Kempton New Church and was a member of the Kempton Fire Company and the Kempton Rod & Gun Club. He was a 1976 graduate of William Tennent High School, Warminster, PA.
In addition to his wife, Susan, Kevin is survived by his children, Alaina J. Henriques, fiancée of Scott Greenawalt, Lenhartsville, Michael R. Henriques, husband of Emily (Peterson) Henriques, Lansing, KS, James R. Henriques, husband of Stephanie M. (Herring) Henriques, Macungie, Jessica A. (Henriques) Smith, wife of Matthew Smith, Shoemakersville, Timothy A. Henriques, Kempton, Matthew A. Henriques, boyfriend of Sonya Shaner, Kutztown, and Joshua K. Henriques, Kutztown.
Kevin is also survived by his grandchildren, Cameron, Amber, Aaliyah, Nathan, Ayla, Natalie, Madison, Mason and Aurora, his mother-in-law, Jacqueline R. Creciun, Kempton, his brother, Charles D. Henriques, Lakewood, FL, and his sister, Karen H. Wicklund, wife of Jason Wicklund, Warrenton, VA.
Along with his mother, he was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Isabella Henriques, his sister, Debra Concepción, and his brother, John Hoch.
Memorial Services for Kevin will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, August 1, 2024 at Kempton New Church, 583 Hawk Mountain Rd, Kempton. A visitation will be held from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at the church. Private burial will take place in the church cemetery.
