My heart is sad to lose a friend. The stories I could share reflects people and events that many of those who posted here. He was and remains amazing to me for two things.. how much he never gave up on people and how he LIVED life on his terms.
It took 6 years to come to terms with this as I struggle too.

We had many great days aboard the Bee Jay fishing out of Pt Isabelle. He made many a long day in the cockpit more fun than our Capt. approved of! He was my buddy, friend and giggle master and I will always have a very special place in my heart for Kyle. May you RIP, you deserve it.
Your friend,
Harriett

Keeping the entire family in my prayers at this time of loss. I married one of Kyle's best friends (Duke Stone). Kyle was one of Duke's groomsmen at our wedding. Our friendship grew in those early days and it was obvious to me from the moment I met Kyle that not only did he have a big heart but the ability to make people laugh. I will take with me so many memories of him through my life's journey. Go in Peace dear friend. Love, Nomi Stone

I will miss all of the practical jokes you use to play on me and your laughter from the other office when you knew I found your joke. You will always be in my memories and I know you are at peace now. Mouse

I worked with Kyle at a law firm in Dallas back in the early 1990s. He was a witty, smart and gregarious young man who always spoke with love about his deceased wife, Karen. I know he is enjoying a great reunion with her now. God bless you all with comfort and peace as you mourn the loss of Kyle.

I feel like I helped "raise" Kyle during his young adulthood, and fondly remember many conversations I had when he was at UT and Baylor. Always so much fun to be with, he and I would laugh and talk for hours. I'm so sorry about this tragic loss, and my heart felt prayers go out to Grant, Evelyn, Kelly, Crady, Tim, Marilyn, Liza and Grant. The entire Cook family will always hold a special place in my heart.

Dear Grant,
So so sorry to hear about Kyle. I remember the last time we saw him at Brae Burn not too long ago, laughing, talking and enjoying the evening. What a nice wonderful man. Our hearts are aching for you.

I remember Kyle well from working with him at the old firm of Reynolds, Allen, and Cook. He was extremely bright, energetic, and extraordinarily talented. He is gone much too soon, and he will be both remembered and missed. My prayers are with his family.

Precious Kyle, what a boy he was. Butch Bean really enjoyed the Cook/Bean escapades. Now which generation are we speaking of...? My love and many prayers go out to Evelyn, Grant, Kelly and all the family. My heart is broken.
