Larry Crabb, 88, passed away on April 14, 2025, in Carmel, Indiana.

Larry is survived by his two children, Jeff (Shelley) Crabb and Jill (Jeff) West and his two granddaughters, Lauren West and Reagan West. He is preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Crabb, his brother Glenn Crabb and his parents Ernest and Hazel Crabb.

Larry was born in Plymouth, Indiana on February 28, 1937 and graduated high school from Argos High School. He graduated from Grace College in 1960 with his B.A. Larry married Barbara (Burkett) on August 23, 1958. He began his education career as an English teacher with Culver Public Schools. He went on to receive his Masters and Doctorate degrees from Indiana University. He was a principal at Schmucker Middle School in Mishawaka after completing his Masters Degree. Upon completion of his Doctorate degree, he was the director of secondary education in Monroe County Schools. From there he was superintendent at Hanover Community School Corporation and Warsaw Community School Corporation. He retired from education in 1992 and continued to pursue other interests as a real estate broker and also opened the Chocolate Emporium in Bloomington, Indiana.

Larry's interests included the outdoors, traveling and riding his bike. He was an avid fantasy football player for over 20 years. Over his 88 years, Larry was involved in many churches and led worship, sang in choirs and taught adult Sunday school classes. Larry always had his wife, Barbara by his side as she played the organ and piano in many of the churches they attended. He and Barbara were married for 63 years before her passing on November 30, 2021.

Memorial donations can be made in Larry's name to Grace College, 1 Lancer Way, Winona Lake, IN 46590. A scholarship for students pursing a degree in education will be established in his name.
