Leslie Champlin Obituary
Jackson
Leslie Anne Champlin, 27, passed away March 18th, 2013. A Memorial Service celebrating her life will be held Friday, March 22nd, 2013 at 6:00pm in the Chapel of Lakewood Memorial Funeral Home on Clinton Blvd., Jackson, MS. Visitation will begin at 4:00pm at the funeral home.
Leslie was born July 4th, 1985 in Jackson, MS. She attended St. Richards Catholic School, Jackson Preparatory School and graduated from Northwest Rankin High School. She was on the Dean's List and currently pursuing an engineering degree at Pearl River Community College.
Leslie is survived by her daughter and love of her life, Marley Jade Champlin; mother, Cindy Champlin; father, John Champlin; stepmother, Gisele Champlin; sister, Susan Champlin Curlee and husband Rodney; stepbrother, Nate Macke; maternal grandmother, Frances Upchurch; paternal grandmother, Joanna Champlin; and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Marley Champlin Educational Fund at Regions Bank.

I knew Leslie for a long time. We were good friends in high school. I remember the first time I saw her in school. She was a grade lower than me and I believe she was new to our school. We didn't become friends till a year or so later. I think it was Allison McCool who introduced us. Who passed away as well. Leslie was super intelligent and fun person. I am just learning about her death! The Lord knows who are his. I cannot find any information on how she passed away. Can anyone help me? Thank you in advance.
