Every time I saw Margie she made me feel that I was special to her. She was one of those rare persons who is always positive and caring. I moved on to Lincoln St after she had moved to her apartment, but fortunately met her through the Garden Club. Her 'old' neighbors, new neighbors to me, never stopped sharing stories about her. We all loved her chocolate angel food cake! A dear dear person.

Margie and I served on the Ravinia Women's Board together. She always had a smile on her face and something positive to contribute to the group. I will miss her. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

We met Margie and Harold when we first moved onto Lincoln Street almost 35 years ago. They quickly took us under their wing and welcomed us into the neighborhood and into their hearts. They became wonderful friends who shared their love of gardening with us (though we could never hope to equal the beauty of their lovely gardens). They also introduced us to the American Technion Society with which we have been actively involved ever since. For that alone, we will be eternally grateful. Margie will be greatly missed and we send her family our deepest and most heartfelt condolences.

Margie and I met when our children were infants. We immediately established a strong rapport and developed a friendship that grew and lasted for the rest of our lives. Our husbands became friends and we felt like family. Her children and grandchildren are very important to me. We celebrated holidays together. She was a expert cook and enjoyed sharing her treats with others. Margie was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She had artistic tastes and we enjoyed attending Symphony and Opera together. Knowing her was profoundly enriching. She will be missed by all who knew her.

To the family of Margie Harris, Please accept our sincere condolences on the death of your mother. She was an active member of our garden club and we will all miss her presence. We just recently enjoyed a Holiday lunch and of course, she was there. So many times she spoke of her family, always with great happiness and pride. May you all be blessed with unending sweet memories of times spent with her.
Sincerely, Gloria Wildenradt, Lincolnwood Garden Club of Evanston
