Maribeth was such a sweet and loving soul. I only knew her a very brief time, having met her on an Alaskan cruise. She was so appealing that my best friend and I wanted to get to know her and so we shared some meals together onboard with Maribeth and Amy and also kept in touch with her after the cruise was over. We got together for a meal out in San Francisco when she came out here and again we just delighted in her company. What a terrible loss for those of us in her sphere to lose this beautiful spirit.

Maribeth was my buddy while in the Seminar Leader's program. She was always delightful. Somehow, the room was brightened when she would join us in any meeting. She transformed lives wherever she went.

Thank you, Maribeth for gracing us with your presence.

After attending today's memorial service for Maribeth, a group of Landmark Education graduates and friends shared lunch together, as well as passed a bottle of water around the table (as a talking stick) and shared Maribeth's contribution to our lives...toasting whatever we had in hand (mostly coffee I believe) after each remembrance!

Maribeth had a remarkable smile, laugh, sense of humor, intelligence beyond her years and most importantly could make people she met feel important and heard with her engaging personality.

We could agree that one word that aptly describes Maribeth is "Quintessential" the definition of which is: "representing the most perfect or typical example of a quality or class."

We toast you Maribeth and thank you for the light and life you have shared with us so generously!

I remember Maribeth leading Landmark seminars. I remember her great sense of humor. She always seemed amused at life. And I can still hear her speaking --- with her Boston accent. Let me use a Landmark term: contribution. She has been a contribution to many.

Maribeth was one of the most generous, selfless people I have ever met. She was always looking at what she could contribute to others, and how she could improve her game. I remember her with a smile on her face - lighting everyone up! To her family - I know you are mourning her loss. Please know that I speak for the thousands of people she made a difference with in saying - what a fantastic lady and what a tribute to your family! All my love,

Juli Hall
