Maurice Dudley Simon, of Pasadena, passed away July, 13, 2012. He was born August 6, 1931 in Maurice, Louisiana. Maurice served his country during the Korean Conflict in the U.S. Marines and was a retired Boiler Maker. He was preceded in death by 3 brothers, 1 sister, his parents and step daughter, Mary Sutton. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Betty Simon; son, Bubba Simon and wife Larissa; daughter, Eda Simon; step children, Walter Simpson and Glenda Simpson; sisters, Janelle Kelly, Dorothy Womack and Doris Hobbs. Visitation will be Monday, July 16, 2012 from 5PM to 8PM at Grand View Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be Tuesday, July 17, 2012 at 10AM in the Chapel of Grand View Funeral Home. Regretfully, as I bacame an adult, we did not visit much. Now we cant. But I have the memories of my youth and the time our families spent together. Praying the family to find peace and comfort in these sad times.

Even though it has been years since last visited, Simon and his family has been a memory never forgotten. From days of raising our children together to weekends spent on the water. We will never forget those times and the true friendship that we shared.
