I worked with Melba at Texas Instruments in late 70's/early 80's. She sat next to me. She was the classiest and finest woman I have ever known. She was pure class. She taught me about cooking and gave me many recipes. I know her family will miss her very much. Clare Habif

One of the greatest joys of my
life has been the privelege of
knowing Melba. She was always
someone that I could always count
on as a dear friend. She and I
shared something in common, our
love for music. It gave me great
joy to share music with her.
Melba although you are gone you
will not be forgotten.

A Poem to my Grandma:
God looked around his garden, and found an empty place, he then looked down onto the Earth and saw your tired face. He knew you were suffering, He knew you were in pain, He knew you would never get better on Earth again.
He saw the road was getting rough, and the hills were hard to climb, so he closed your tired eyelids and said, "There's a peace to find".
Up you flew where the angels sing, far above imagining.
I saw Grandpa through the clouds with a smile on his face. He knew you were coming, a long-awaited embrace. His hand reaching out to show you the way, and promising peace, everything would be okay. Did you see Grandpa through the light? Did you grab his hand with all your might?
I still recall the memories of the times we spent together. Making applesauce and painting nails, as if we had forever. There's a spot in my heart where you always are so we'll never be apart.
In life I loved you dearly, in death I love you still. In my heart you hold a place no one can ever fill.
It broke my heart to lose you, but you didn't go alone. A part of me went with you, the day God called you home.
Heavenly Father, hear my prayer. Guide my Grandma with tender care. Heavenly Father, don't leave her alone. Love her in Heaven as I do at home.
THE ONES WHO LOVE CAN TRULY TELL THE HEARTACHE OF PARTING WITHOUT FAREWELL.
"Be Sweet" Grandma, you know I will.
I love you,
Jennifer

Dear Barbara, Gerry & Gary,
Your mom held a very special place in my heart. She was an elegant lady.
I will always be grateful for her willingness to let me live with her and Uncle Arnold while I found my way in Atlanta.
Each time I get a manicure, I think of the way she always kept her nails looking beautiful. I also remember that she like butterflies.
Yesterday, after Dad called, I walked outside and I saw a butterfly on a flower in our garden. I said a prayer for you and I told Aunt Melba that I loved her and would miss her.
I regret that I am not able to be with you during this time. But please know that I care and that you are in my prayers.
Diane
