It's sad to say goodbye, but i know you're in a better place now. Thank you for being Poppa Mike to my children. Thank you for the debates we had on many occasions, I like to think we challenged each other to see or at least, acknowledge, another point of view. Rest in peace in the arms of our Lord, Jesus Christ, til we meet again.

It is really hard to say good-bye to a man who has been a part of my life for 30yrs.He protected me from an abusive man, sheltered me thru' many storms(hurricanes), and danced with me at my wedding. We haven't always got along and we haven't always been friends but my mother loved him dearly and that's all that mattered. My children called him 'Poppa Mike', my husband called him 'friend'and I am proud to call him my step dad. Walk with God, Mike. I love you, Christy Klenk

A group of us from around the lake with about 5 fairly quick street cars went to Galveston one Saturday night to challenge the locals there in a bit of drag racing down on Cherry Hill. Mike was quite the star that night with his Z28 Camaro; it was all good fun and one of the best memories I have of Mike.
