Aunt Rosie, Rosemary, Sam, L.J., Katie & Family, I am so sorry about the loss of Uncle Mike: a truly WONDERFUL & CARING man. I rememember the great times spent together over-the-years, whether it be at weddings, reunions, or just having Sunday lunches with Grandma & Grandpa or any of our beloved Aunts & Uncles...They will always be truly cherished. If it's any consolation, I promise you we'll all be reunited one day when Uncle Mike & all loved ones we may have lost in the physical presence, welcome us into the Kingdom of Heaven. In the meantime, just remember there will NEVER be a day that their Spirit isn't present within EACH one of us... Much Love & Regards to All, Gerard, Anthony, & Kathy Piccolo

Grandpa,
You are now laying in peace. I can never tell you how much our phone conversations each time meant. We never talked like grandpa and kiddo, we always talked liked old friends. Friends that had known each other forever. In a since I guess we did. You always made me laugh, and I was always so proud to tell you of good things going on in my life. To say I will miss you is an understatement. You were one of a kind. Knowing that you'll watch over all of us and wait til we join you gives me peace. So this is not goodbye...this is until we meet again. Love you!!!!!

Even though I have only known Grandpa Piccolo for about 9 years and been a part of the family for nearly 7 years, he always treated me just like one of his own grandsons. I always enjoyed visiting Grandpa and Grandma Piccolo at their house on Anacortes and eating honey roasted peanuts and drinking iced tea. Grandpa will be truly missed, but I know we will be reunited in Heaven one day.

Dear Aunt Rose, Rosemary, LJ and family, Sam, Katie and family,

I was very sad to hear of Uncle Mike's death. I expected to hear he had recovered once again. I will always remember him as a man that seemed to view life with a good sense of humor and to not take life too seriously. I really admired him for that. Love, Cynthia Essmyer

Sam and Rosemary, just to let you know that we are saddened by the loss of your
father and our Uncle Mike. I think back to the gatherings at Grandpa and Grandma's when Uncle Mike was front and center with stories and laughter. I am sorry I could not attend the funeral, but know we are thinking of you during this sad time. James
