Nancy Gilbert Obituary
A visitation will be held on Friday, May 31st from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Teague Funeral Home, 2260 Ivy Road, Charlottesville, VA 22903. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 1st at Teague Funeral Home at 11 a.m., followed by a graveside service at Holly Memorial Gardens, 3251 Seminole Trail, Charlottesville, VA 22911. A special thanks to Nancy's niece, Danna Gibson, and Sandy Layman for their help in caring for Nancy. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donation be made to the Parklane Freewill Baptist Church, 112 Park Lane W., Charlottesville, VA 22903.

We were so sorry to hear about your mom. We are so sorry we could not attend the service. We just found out yesterday. We were neighbors of Jim and Nancy for many years on Berwick Court. Your mom and Jim were our good friends and so wonderful and caring.

I am so sorry for the loss of Nancy. I was a 1961 AHS grad with her. For a number of years we planned reunions and met for our monthly 61 dinners. Nancy was a very sweet and caring person. Again, Sherry, Lisa and family my thoughts are with you.
