Nancy Lynn Rainer went to her heavenly home on November 22, 2013 at the age of 69. She was born on July 18, 1944 in Houston, Texas to Reverend Forrest Kemp and Lorene Gardner-Kemp. Nancy is survived by her husband of 51 years, Raymond Rainer; son, Darrell Rainer and his wife Jeanine; 3 grandchildren, Erin Grace Rainer, Samuel Rainer, and Daniel Rainer; 1 brother, Tommy Kemp and his wife Barbara; as well as many other extended family members and friends. Nancy was a life-long resident of the Houston/Tomball area, graduated from Cy Fair High School, and was a member of Central Assembly of God Church for 30 years. Nancy was a beautiful, kind lady who loved taking care of her family. She was a loving wife, devoted mother, and doting grandmother. Nancy was a crafty person, and an excellent seamstress. She loved fishing. And she loved her dogs, Fancy and Bridgette. She will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved her. The family will receive friends for visitation on Monday, November 25, 2013 from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Grand View Funeral Home. Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, November 26, 2013 in the chapel of Grand View Funeral Home at 12:30 p.m., with interment to follow in Grand View Memorial Park. Those desiring to do so may make contributions in memory of Nancy to the American Cancer Society P.O. Box 22718 Oklahoma City, OK 73123-1718
