Nancy Sutter Obituary

Nancy Sutter
February 3, 1944 - June 27, 2021
Sacramento, California - Nancy Ann Sutter was called home to eternal peace on June 27, 2021. She was born on February 3, 1944 in Milwaukee, WI. Nancy's greatest joy in life was her family. Nothing gave her greater pleasure than hosting and attending family gatherings. She loved to cook, especially fried noodles, a family favorite. She supported her children and grandchildren by attending high school band concerts, music and dance recitals, and cheering from the sidelines at basketball, soccer and baseball games. She participated in school booster clubs and served on the council of Job's Daughters for many years. Nancy enjoyed sewing and crocheting and gifted many afghans to family and friends. She is survived by her children Karie Sutter (Marty Zimmerman), Kristin Shumaker (Michael), Kelly Dankbar (Jerry), Kimberly Perry, and Bobby Sutter (Jill), her grandchildren Justin and Nathaniel Shumaker, Matt and Mike Dankbar, Paul Perry, and Addisen and Easton Sutter, her great grandchildren Jrue Dankbar and Collins Dankbar, and her brothers and sister, Richard, Donald, and Nadine Hayden. She will always be remembered for her kind and caring heart. A celebration of life will be held on August 14, 2021 at 11:00 at Reichert's Funeral Home at 7320 Auburn Blvd., Citrus Heights, CA. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you make a donation in her memory to the charity of your choice.

Dear family of Nancy,
Although I did not get to know Your mom well, I remember her kindness and warm smile. I was always so impressed at how well she could sew, making brides maids dresses and so much more. We are very sorry for your loss and hope that you all find comfort in the wonderful memories that you share. Love to you all! Leslie and Dave

You taught me how to ride a bike and drew a mecuricome bunny on my knee when I fell. You taught me to sew. You taught me to drive, and so many other sister memories. Will always love and miss you my sista.
