Nancy Rita Ealy Tharp

Nancy Rita Ealy Tharp, 83, of Hudson, Ohio, formerly of Waynesburg, died at 7:08 p.m. Wednesday, December 16, 2015, in her home.
She was born Tuesday, May 31, 1932, in Waynesburg, a daughter of the late Byron Ealy and Hazel Kahlbaugh Ealy.
Mrs. Tharp attended Washington St. United Methodist Church, while living in Waynesburg. She was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4793 Auxiliary, where she was a former officer.
She loved playing bingo and doing photo album crafting. When her health permitted, she loved to go camping with her family and sitting around the campfire.
Mrs. Tharp was a homemaker.
On March 25, 1951, she married Harold I. Tharp, who died February 25, 1997.
Surviving are a daughter, Anna M. (Jim) Baker of Akron, Ohio; three sons, Terrance E. Tharp Sr. of Hudson, Ohio, Kenneth I. (Judy) Tharp of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, and Randy D. Tharp and partner Ralene of Jefferson; 19 grandchildren; 55 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; four sisters, Bessie Martin of Ruff Creek, Eldora Tush of Eighty Four, Gwen Roupe of Eighty Four and Margaret Johns of Blue Ridge, Ga.; a brother, Duane Ealy of Long Island, N.Y.; and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased are a son and daughter-in-law, Alan D. and Peggy Tharp; a daughter-in-law, Deloris "Lori" Tharp; and two brothers, Thomas Ealy and Gerald Ealy.
Friends will be received from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., the time of service, Monday, December 21, in Milliken and Throckmorton Funeral Home Inc., Daryl L. Throckmorton, owner/director, 197 North Maiden Street, Waynesburg, PA 15370, with Pastor David McCombs officiating. Burial will be in Greene County Memorial Park, Morgan Township.
