He attended grade school in Staten Island, New York and continued his grade school years at St. Agnes Catholic School under tutelage of his uncle, Msgr. Arthur Paul Brue. He graduated from Archbishop Rummel High School in the first senior graduating class. He attended college for two years at UNO, maintaining lifelong friendships with his classmates. He married Lynn Taggart Brue in 1970, and would have celebrated their 47th wedding anniversary in August. Starting off on a professional career, he was an announcer at WDSU Radio in the early 1970's then worked for the LSU Dental School, which launched him into medical sales. He was a beloved, faithful and devoted father, a beloved and loyal son, life-long learner, mentor and teacher to work associates, friends and family, successful in his career, had a Private Pilot Certificate for many years, generous to family, friends and strangers. Lynn, I am so sorry to hear of Paul's passing. Linda and I enjoyed seeing him in our trips to New Orleans. He was so good to talk to and to be with. I don't know of a finer person that I worked with here at Fisher Scientific.
Paul will be in my prayers for a long time to come.
May God give you strength.

Sorry for your loss & my condolences (Aunt) Lynn & (Cousin) Jim. I just wish we lived closer. I remember as a kid every time we'd get together - I'd have Paul say, "New Yawk," like a real, New Yorker, would. I just love the New York (Yawk)'accent' especially when he'd say it... Stay strong & know the Lord is with you in this time of sorrow/mourning. Sorry I can't be there for his 'Celebration of Life'. Take care!

Paul was a wonderful person and minister to each person that was fortunate enough to cross his path. As a work colleague, he was held in the highest esteem by all and was his customer's advocate. He will be greatly missed and held with very fond memories. Karen Covington - Thermo Fisher Scientific
