PAUL DICENZO Obituary


PAUL F. DICENZO, 75, of Stuart, passed away February 27, 2014 at his home. Paul was born in Marlborough, MA and attended Marlborough High School Class of 1956. He has resided along the Treasure Coast for 45 years; Paul lived in Jupiter 10 years, Hobe Sound 30 years and moved to Stuart 5 years ago. He also was a summer resident of Newport, VT for many years. He was a retired Beverage Service Manager and had worked for Jupiter Island Club, Jupiter Hills and Loblolly. Paul attended St. Christopher Catholic Church and was a member of the Italian American Post 45 in Marlborough and Elks Lodge 2155 in Newport, VT. Paul was also an avid Boston Red Sox fan. He is survived by his beloved wife of 44 years, Simonne Gauthier DiCenzo; brother, Richard DiCenzo (Cathy) of Woburn, MA; sister, Kathy Brenn (Ronnie) of Whitinsville, MA; sisters-in-law, Cecile Vickers of Stuart; Diane Valis (Joe) of Upton, MA; Helen Gauthier of Tucson, AZ; brothers-in-law, Donald Gauthier of Jensen Beach; Roland Gauthier (Debbie) of Lake Alfred, FL; and Albert Gauthier (Karen) of Upton, MA; and many nieces and nephews. Paul was preceded in death by his father, Umberto Dicenzo of Marlborough, MA; mother and step-father, Margaret and Malcolm Wallace of Newport, VT; brother-in-law, Louis Gauthier; and sisters-in-law, Annette Brown and Claire Mallett. Memorial contributions in Paul's name may be made to the charity of your choice. Mass will be celebrated 11 AM, March 10, 2014 at St. Christopher Catholic Church. A guest registry may be signed at www.youngandprill.com.
