Peter F. Pizzulo Jr., 86, of McDonald, passed away on Sunday, September 22, 2024, at Liberty Health Care Center with his family by his side.
Peter was born July 2, 1938 in Youngstown, Ohio, the son of Peter and Lois (Fausnaught) Pizzulo Sr.
Peter retired in 1993 from RMI, in Niles, as an inspector after 33 years. He had served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, Korean War Veterans, and Knights of Columbus, in McDonald. He was very active with Alcoholics Anonymous and had recently received his coin for 34 years of sobriety.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his son Peter J. Pizzulo, wife Kerry Renee of Bazetta; grandchildren, Alexis (Marty), Gianna, Chase and Christina; and great-grandchildren, Macie and Charlie.
Peter is preceded in death by his wife, Martha Anne Bobovnyk, whom he married August 12, 1961 and died August 17, 2011; sisters, Dorothy Pratt and Pauline Hentschel; and brother James Pizzulo.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, September 28th, 2:00 PM at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, in McDonald, with military honors to follow. The family will receive relatives and friends from 1:00 PM until the time of service. Peter will be laid to rest at All Souls Cemetery next to his wife.
