In loving memory of Raymond Romero Olvera, 64, of Santee, who passed away January 30, 2014 from a long and courageous battle with cancer.
He was born in Salinas, California on November 11, 1949 to the late Ramon and Bertha Olvera.
He is survived by his wife of 39 years Lupita Olvera of Santee; his daughter, Andrea Olvera also of Santee; brothers, Larry and Johnny Sandoval of Salinas, California.
Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
The viewing will be held on Wednesday, February 5, 2014 from 5 to 8 p.m. at El Cajon Mortuary, 684 S. Mollison Ave, El Cajon, CA. Rosary will be from 7 to 8 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, February 6, at 10 a.m. at Guardian Angels Catholic Church, 9310 Dalehurst Rd. in Santee, CA with reception to follow in the Parish Center.

I never worked directly with Ray at Pacific Bell but we attended meetings together. He was always a kind and nice man; he told me he was always there for me should I ever need help. I just found out this past weekend of his passing; my heart goes out to the Olvera Family. He is one of our Guardian Angels now.
