Robert J. Seitzer, age 73, passed away peacefully with his son by his side on November 6, 2024. Bob was born on April 9, 1951 in Green Bay to the late William and Doris (VandenPlas) Seitzer. He was a graduate of Green Bay East High School. Bob married Tina Reimer in 1970. Their son Steve was welcomed into their family in the same year. Bob later married the late Holly VanderMeulen on June 15, 1996.
Bob’s biggest joy in life was spending time outdoors with his family and friends. He enjoyed deer hunting, grouse hunting, and fishing. In his earlier years, he loved barrel racing with his horses, earning many trophies along the way. He spent his last few years retired at his cabin in Townsend with his golden retriever, Bear.
He is survived by his son, Steve (Vashni) Seitzer, grandchildren: Kayla Lauder, Aria Seitzer, and Aidan Seitzer, sisters-in-law, Sandi Seitzer and Marilyn Seitzer, and nieces Kim Seitzer, Michelle Skrobel, and Stacy Lealiou.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Fred and Rick Seitzer, wife Holly Seitzer, special friend Bonnie Glaser, and nephews Chad and Cole Seitzer.
Family and friends may gather beginning at 10 am on Tuesday, November 26, 2024 at Faith Lutheran Church, 2335 S Webster Ave, Green Bay. A funeral service will be held at 11 am with Pastor Joshua Errer officiating.
