My heartfelt condolences go to the family of Robert. Having also just lost my brother to diabetes, I can understand your sadness at such a loss. My grandparents, Emilio and Licha Carrasco knew Robert's parents. You are all in my prayers. Fond memories will bring comfort to you and soon will replace your tears.

Dear friend: I am heartbroken as I write these words of goodbye. I first met you when we grew up next door to each other on Bisbee street in El Paso. You were, and always have been, an inspiration, a mentor, a jokester, and a true and caring GOOD friend not only to me, but to so many others who had the pleasure of knowing you. Rob, may you rest now, but always know that I and all of those others whose lives you touched will forever remember all the kindnesses and times you spent listening, counseling, and just sharing your insights and thoughts with us. There is no other person I've met on this Earth with the empathy, spirit and wonderful sense of humor that you had. We will miss you my friend but will carry you in our hearts until it is our time to depart. Friends forever...

O.N.G was a non profitable organization that was a very strong family helping out youngsters find a future not in a gang. Mr G once told me his purpose in life was helping people.
