To the FAMILY of Ronnie Graham: Donnie, as a father of twin girls, I know your pain is real. Hang in there and rest assure you will see him again. Truthfully, you merely have to listen to the song, "Angels Among Us" by Alabama and it will all come full circle. I am a retired Police Official from Washington D.C. and if it were not for the Angels watching over me, I assure you I would not be here today. Trust me, he will be there for you. You guys were the Greatest at Richard Montgomery High School. My Prayers to you and all your family.

Waiting for it to get a little easier, but it doesn't. My husband is missing one of his oldest and best friends. You know, the one that you call when your having a good time, or a bad one. The one you can call every day, once a month or even once a year, and still be right where you left off, still get the same encouraging voice at the other end of the line, that person that always made you smile and made things better for a moment. Ron, you meant so much to so many. You are so loved and so missed. May God carry each one of us through this unimaginable time. May he walk with us, and remind us of all the wonderful memories we forever treasure. It has been such a blessing to read the stories and memories of others we would have never known had they not opened their hearts and shared their personal stories. I know that is hard to do when you just want to hold on to every little memory. Thanks to all of you for those blessings. Don, we pray God carries you and the entire family through each and every day. May he hold you in his arms and let you know with each passing day that Ron is ok, he loved you, he knew how much you loved him and he is making Heaven a brighter and better place as he did here. To his children, I never had the pleasure to meet you, but I know one thing, he was so proud of each one of you. You were his heart, and his smile, and he never stopped smiling when he was thinking of you. We can do All Things Through Christ Who Strenghens Us.....Please know...You may be only ONE person in this world....but you may also, be the WORLD, to one person. In your case Ron..you are the WORLD to an endless many. We Love You.

A close friend spoke with me yesterday about Ronnie's passing and I did not believe him. I chat with Ronnie periodically on the web and it was difficult to accept his passing.

Ronnie was truly "one of the good guys". In the last few months I have asked why would our creator place such special people in our lives just for a short while before calling them home?
The only answer which makes sense to any of this is that they have completed their work and someday we will meet with them again. Have a safe journey my friend.

August 16, 2015

Don,We were so saddened and shocked to hear about Ron.
So many years have passed since we have seen you and your brother but always felt you two close at heart. Your mom, dad,you and Ron were very special to us and we have so many wonderful memories to hold on to.
From the time we moved to Macon with GEICO, got married, the "Graham Crackers",riding & driving the yellow camaro up & down Riverside Dr, travelling in the motorhome to see the Daytona 500,(all 8 of us)! What a wild weekend that was. But all good memories. Life's many blessings.
So just remember how special your brother was & all the lives he touched, young & old. He will be missed.
For now my friend, words can't take the pain away from losing your dear brother, but may your heart find peace and comfort in all your loving memories of him.
Many blessings to you and your family during this most difficult time.
Love, Bob & Pam Clatterbuck

I am in total shock. So terribly, terribly sorry about Ron's passing. Ron was my neighbor. I did not know him well but he was always extremely kind. He visited briefly recently to inquire as to where all of our neighbors had gone. He will be missed. Please know you are in my prayers, and may God comfort you during this most difficult time as only He can do.

I remember the PCR I wrote riding with Ron. I asked him what his Georgia License number was so I could add him as the driver and he said,"523, bet you never seen one that low." Rest in peace brother, I'll see you later.

August 13, 2015

I pray that the many happy memories of Ron's life with all of you will, with time, overcome the sadness and pain. Ron did a lot in the community, but I particularly remember his hard work and dedication. He worked tirelessly and was a good friend to all. I will always remember our happy times in EMS. Please be assured of our prayers.

Wow as I sit here reading these condolences, I see hearts broken from as far away as California to Maryland. Ron, look at how many people loved, admired and respected you. What an impact you've had in this World!! I can say with certainty you were an Angel walking amongst us here. You were a caregiver, provider, teacher, protector, father, brother and husband, wow. You did all of these well. To Don, Kennedy and Gracie, I am so sorry for your loss. Ron is safely in God's loving arms now, at peace and resting. Girls I remember seeing you with your Dad at the fair, just know how much he loved you, you could see the love in his eyes for you both. My prayers and thoughts will continue to be with you all. To Ron, God speed my friend, a friendship I am so thankful that grew between us.

How do we begin to understand..........you never knew how much it meant to me when you would take time and talk to us about calls. It didn't matter how bad the call was, you always had a way of explaining things and still taught us that there was always good. Remember when I talked to you about my fear of dieing.......you brought a sheet of paper by that explained what happened to your body when you died...I told you it didn't make me feel any better and you said "well at least you know what will happen now". Then you flashed that grin and I knew that it didn't really matter what happened because I wouldn't be there....... my spirit will have flown. You and Drago always left us with smiles on our faces from the stories you shared. You were truly called to serve and it was so natural to you.......you are loved and will be missed by many. To your family, we saw the working Ron.......but as I think about him........you saw the same caring, loving, kind and happy Ron that we saw.............my thoughts and prayers are with you now and in the days to come..........God Speed Ron Graham...........

I started my EMS career in 1981 at Laurens County EMS. Ron was my first partner, and I couldn't have had a better mentor or teacher than Ron. I was young and didn't have a clue to what I was suppose to do. Ron was very patient with me and taught me what being a medic was all about. During that first year I had many doubts in my abilities and was not sure if EMS was for me. Because of Ron's understanding and compassion and seeing something in me that I was unable to see myself, I went on to have a 30 year career in EMS. Even though it has been many years since I have seen him, I have never forgotten his kindness and what he did for me as a rookie EMT. Rest in peace my brother. Know that my thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends.

He was also a mentor to me in my EMT days & I rode clinicals with him. Though far away in distance, please know our hearts are with you. We will never forget him & how much better of a place this world is because of him. He will always be remembered lovingly & deeply missed. Hugs & love to you all.
