Roy Sims passed away unexpectedly on November 23, 2025. He was born in Spokane on August 4, 1961, to Robert and Shirley Sims.
Roy was a self employed flooring installer for 45+ years. He was a hard worker and took pride in his workmanship.
Roy was a family man. He enjoyed sports, especially watching his children and grandchildren play. He had a great sense of humor and took every opportunity to use it. He was an animal lover, having rescued many strays over the years.
He is survived by his wife, Julie; his children: Ryan (Emily), Michael (Savannah), and Hayley; and his grandchildren: Charlie, Gabriel, Toby, and Henry.
He is also survived by his mother, Shirley; his aunt, Lynda; and his brothers, Bob (Corinne) and Dan.
Roy will be remembered for all of the laughter he created.
No services will be held.
