Sandra Michelle Dilworth, a radiant soul whose warmth touched all who knew her, was born on March 25, 1974, to the late Sarah Martin Rice Gibson of Madisonville, Kentucky, and Michael Perry of Mississippi. She passed on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love.
She was a proud graduate of F.J. Reitz High School in 1992. Her dedication and hard work marked Sandra's journey through life, and she contributed her talents to the McCurdy Hotel as a dietary supervisor, Super-Kmart, and Dungarvin. In the kitchen, Sandra found her true joy—cooking up meals that brought friends and family together around the table, nurturing both bodies and spirits. Her heart belonged to her best friend, Holly, who was not just a companion but a sister, reminding us of all the beautiful bonds life can create.
In addition to her loving parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved sister, Teresa Williams Bradley.
She leaves behind a vibrant tapestry of family and friends who will forever honor her memory: her cherished daughter, Kalaysia Rogers; beloved sisters Kim Dilworth and Ann Wilson Reel of Evansville, Indiana; brothers Ronald Allen Gibson of Evansville, IN, Orlando Gibson, and Tony Rice of Evansville, Indiana; as well as a plentiful gathering of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends, whose lives she enriched with her laughter and love.
