Steve,
I've rewritten this final word for you again and again, but nothing seems appropriate. You truly were a great leader and an even greater friend. You must not have been surprised at the out pouring of love today from those you know and those you have never meet. Children left their schools to say goodbye to you, men and women stepped out of their cars to salute as you passed by and people came out of their homes to pay homage to your service and the sacrifices that you paid for them. The welcome you've received in your eternal home must have been even greater as they all know the quality of man that has joined their company. May you Rest In Peace brother and know that your memory will not be forgotten.

The news was so shocking. Couldn't hardly believe it. Still can't. My thoughts and prayers immediately went to Jen and the kids; I'm so very sorry for your immense loss and pray the Lord will give you the support and comfort you need. Much Love and God Bless.
