Carolyn, I remember that little boy I babysat all those years ago. Tom & Joey have always held a place in my heart. I had the pleasure of seeing Tom again 2 years ago at Paramount Equity when we were there to sign paperwork. I remember Tom watching the Land Before Time movies & he memorized them & acted them out while watching the movie. So I can see him as loving movies as someone else has said. So sorry to hear his life ended too soon. Tom will forever be in my heart. Hugs to Carolyn, Joey and extended family.

Hi Carolyn, I believe we met briefly a few months back...I wanted to just let you know how much Tom meant to me. Anthony Trujillo and I hired Tom to be our assistant at Paramount awhile back. Since then I've spent countless hours working closely with Tom and we quickly developed a friendship that extended more than just work boundaries. He was such a good kid, extremely hard worker and eager to learn; he was my right hand man and a HUGE part of my success last year. I truly enjoyed working along side him day in and day out; his quirky personality and untimely jokes always kept things lighthearted and fun around the office. He was a such a smart kid and I could tell he was really improving and was so close to becoming a loan originator himself. My heart is broken and I'll miss my friend deeply. I'm not sure how I'll be able to operate without him. I can't imagine the pain and sorrow you and your family must be feeling. I hope and pray that you find the strength to get through this incredibly tough time and I hope you know that you raised an incredible young man. We all lost a great person way too soon. If I can help you or your family in anyway, please let me know.

Quirky but passionate, A true friend, and you were so animated. The first day I met you I found out that your idea of a cardio workout was Wii boxing. HAHA You would argue endlessly about how water polo was more physically demanding than any other sport. Lol We had some great times Macke; great times I will always remember. Love you Macke!

Its so strange how this life works. I was brought into Paramount not knowing anyone, and you accepted me with open arms immediately. We emailed each other all the time at legacy, and our friendship grew from there. After I reached out and got you hired you back at Paramount, you were my first "employee" I was responsible for training, building, guiding, and growing into a professional that i would feel confident in saying he was part of my team. I can smile tonight because you were amazing at what you did. You might have had us tell you to do something repeatedly to start, but once you "got it", you were simply amazing at it. One of our last days together, i remember asking you how i was as your "boss", in which you said, "not bad". Ill never forget how that made my day because just months prior, that wouldnt have been the answer. You have made me a better leader, a better person, and a better friend. When I felt like i didnt have alot of friends to turn to recently, you were always there for me. Ill never forget that. Your family should be proud of the man you became as your time ended. I wish I could go back in time and play the last day over again and bring you back. But GOD has plans that we must not challenge, but we must accept. I am PROUD to call you my friend. I love you Brother. Ill see ya.

Tom was a valued member of our Paramount Equity Family; his loss leaves a hole in our hearts that can never be filled. Such a great guy and such a tragedy that he left this earth at such a young age. We will never forget Tom or the contributions he made as a man, a friend to so many, and a loyal teammate to this company.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Tom's family during this time of sorrow. God bless.

Missing you friend. From your hilarious TED costume which took 1st prize, to asking me for the password to compucram 30 times and never using it once. You where a special kid with a wonderful sense of humor and rolled with the punches ALWAYS! Thank you for all of the goofy memories. We miss your bright light. Rest in paradise honey...

T-Mack... you left to soon my friend. I'm forever grateful for the memories I was able to share with you! Your strange sense of humor brought me to tears laughing numerous times. Too many stories to list but I'll never forget the look on your face when I gave you 100 pb&j's for Christmas.

I'll always remember the Friday lunches we shared at the taqueria over a burrito and ice cold Corona. See you in heaven my friend, going to miss you.

Tom worked for my son's company, Paramount Equity, for several years. One of our favorite divisions was called Legacy. The folks were called Legacy Account Managers, so I called them my "lambie pies" since most of them were young kids like Tom. I have only fond memories of them all.Tom won a $1,000.00 cash from our Marketing Department one year for his outstanding response time to our Paramount Web Site inquiries. He will be missed by us all.

Ashley: "Morning Macke"
Tom: "There she is..."
That is how our Mondays through Fridays started as we exchanged sarcastic remarks! He was always good for a laugh to begin our work day or a smile to cheer to me up.Throughout the year that we spent as "cube-mates" in our corner, I learned a lot about him. I feel grateful and fortunate that I had the opportunity to know him. I admire his loyalty, commitment, zest for life, dry sense of humor... and deep down, his huge heart and soft side (yes - I actually got to see it!)
To choose from my favorite memories of him is quite the tedious task. So I'll chalk it up to this one: We bonded over a wooden tick-tack-toe set that sits on my desk... In between our tasks at work, he continually challenged me in what I would consider "intense battles" with carefully thought out moves. Today, every time I look at those pieces, I can't help but smile and remember the result of our last game: a sarcastic remark (of course) and a smirk on his face as realized that he would continue his reign as champ. And that's how he left us all - and I wouldn't expect anything less.
Thanks for all of the laughs and encouragement over the years! You will deeply missed for a long time my dear friend!

T-Macke,
I will always remember the type of friendship we had. We would be at each other's throats arguing about the Bengals and Steelers but, as soon as the game ended, we would say "damn, good game!" or "that was fun, love you buddy." Then you would ask me my opinions on the point spread for the later games, even though I was wrong so many times. You were always there for me if I needed something (like when I didn't know where I was going to live) and I will always appreciate that. RIP buddy... you will be always missed, and never forgotten.
