Tom went out of his way to give my brother help when he was facing a financial challenge, as he invested in a start up business. Tom's insight based on all his great experience, saved my brother from a decision that could have been debilitating. He gave the advice with ego saving humor as a bonus!
My family won't forget Tom's generosity, and I'll treasure his and Marie's warmth and humor forever. Additionally, Tom wrote a job reference for me that was amazing. Wordsmith is an understatement!

Dear Marie,Kevin, Richard and Eileen, We are so very very sad to learn of Tom's death. The first minute I met him I saw my mother's families blue eyes and within five minutes I knew we were kindred spirits. His smile, laugh, good humor were always right there. I am so happy for the times we could be together, especially in Missouri.
My heart goes out to each of you and the children and grandchildren. You have all been blessed by a beautiful soul. I rejoice in the hope of our faith that we will all be together again one day. We are keeping each of you in our prayers and Tommy too that he is in the arms of those dear ones who went before him. I will get the word to all the family.
Uncle Merle, Mother's brother, will celebrate his one hundredth birthday July 29th. I will share this will all the cousins that will be there.

I had the pleasure and honor of being Tom's close friend for 34 years. Professionally and personally, I never met a person with more integrity and honesty. I can't recall over all these years ever having a moment of anger between us. We spoke almost every day. We both shared our times of pain and happiness and he was always a calming influence. You will be sorely missed.
My deepest sympathy for the whole family.

Rest Well Old Friend

Tom and I were classmates at St. Mary's High School. I remember him as always having a smile and trying to get a laugh in every situation. It seemed he continued to live a happy life.

My good wishes go to his family, especially to Kevin.

Tom was one of the nicest, most honest men I have ever worked with, we shared many laughs back in our Southeast Bank days and I enjoyed learning from him. He always took the high road and acted with absolute integrity. It's been wonderful keeping in touch with him over the years, he always made time to offer career advice and to enjoy a good laugh over our past memories. My heartfelt wishes go to his wife and children, who he spoke of often and who were his life... Cathy Parenti
