Family-Placed Death Notice
KOLB, Tom Tom Kolb, 68, of Norcross, GA, passed away May 29, 2012. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 1st, at All Saints Catholic Church in Dunwoody. Burial will follow at Arlington Memorial Park in Sandy Springs. The family will receive friends Thursday, May 31st, from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Mr. Kolb began his career as a teacher and coach and then went into commercial real estate. He retired from Wheeler/Kolb Management Company after 26 years of service. He was a member of All Saints Catholic Church. He enjoyed spending time at Lake Hartwell, fishing and boating with his family and friends. He also loved riding his Harley. He will be missed by his devoted wife of 46 years, Cathy Kolb of Norcross; and by his son and daughter-in-law, Tom and Lacey Kolb, Jr. of Cumming; daughter and son-in-law, Lizzie and Tom Roche of Suwanee; brother and sister-in-law, Donnie and Carol Kolb of Nederland, TX; sisters and brothers-in-law, Carrie and Bo Smith of Woodlands, TX and Keitha and Steve Pennix of Beaumont, TX; and four grandchildren, Nathan Roche, Caroline Roche, Thomas Clinton Kolb, III, and Tommy Roche. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to: Prostate Cancer Foundation, www.pcf.org. Online condolences may be expressed at www.crowell brothers.com. During every discussion i have with someone who knew and worked with Tom, the words Family man, Gentlemen, Deal maker, Honorable ... has been mentioned numerous times. It was my privilage to have worked with and to have known Tom and his family that he loved.

Cathy, Tom and Lizzie: my prayers are with you in the loss of Tom. I had occasion to be involved over 30 years with Tom and the real estate that he was an expert in.
