I corresponded for many years with Verda and I am sorry to read that she died (the same year as my own father did). We were both interested in family history, specifically the Donkersley family. We were not related but we shared many stories and she loved to hear about England. It was a pleasure to have corresponded with her. Claire Pearson, Yorkshire, England.
