Dear Janet, Rick told me he spoke with you yesterday and found out that your husband had passed. We are so sorry for your loss & our hearts go out to you. Even though we never met your husband, he seems to have been a very outgoing guy. I bet he and Rick would have had a good time together. May the Lord bless you and comfort you in the days to come. We look forward to seeing you whenever we come to your place of business. I know Rick always enjoys hearing your voice when he calls. With our love and blessings, SUE & RICK SHIFLET

Janet, and all the Hatcher family; I am shocked and deeply sorry to hear of the loss of my Cousin Ron. Although we had not seen each other in some time we kept in touch on the phone. I was always grateful that Ron would call my Mom in her last few years just to see how she was doing. I know he is going to be missed.

Ronnie was a great neighbor, friend, and universal good guy! He was devoted to his family and had a ready smile for everyone! Staunton will surely miss his smile and friendliness, so will the Packs! Only man I ever knew who took his women shopping in a Richmond mall and he watched 3 movies in a row while they blasted the plastic! What was not to love?

Heaven gained an amazing angel Wednesday afternoon and we lost an amazing man. It was as honor working with Ron in the good old Adelphia days He always took care of his girls as he called us and he was always bringing us stuff or getting us tickets to events. He always had a smile on his face and hed do anything for you. Hed reached out to me recently and given me words of encouragement in my fight against cancer and I am truly going to miss him. My heart goes out to the family at this unexpected loss and they are in my thoughts and prayers. Ron, my dear friend, Rest in peace and fly high my friend .. fly high! Love Kimmie Shifflett Rohr

Among his many friends, I think I am the poor man. I say this because I've only known Ron for a little over a year. We spent some time together as Timeless in practice sessions and concerts. From the first, I was attracted to Ron's friendliness. When I was physically ill, Ron would call and be very concerned. He even gave me a special suit so that I would look good for a music concert. He always seemed pleased to see me and extended his hand in friendship. All this after only a year of acquaintance. I wonder what it would have been like to have known Ron for 10, 20, or 30 years. Goodbye, dear friend. You will be sorely missed and impossible to replace.

Shocked and sadden to hear of the loss of my friend and brother. Janet and family, we are praying for all of you. Ron was a person who we all loved and enjoyed being around. He was a distinguished individual who was all about business and very serious about his music. He and I played in the same band in the past and recently. He was a solid and excellent drummer who got a joy out of playing- "he was great to play with!" I am missing my friend and there is a void now that will always remain. Our prayers goes out to the family that God will sustain you and keep you in his care. George Taylor & family.

To the family of Ronald D. Hatcher. My family sends prayers and condolences to you in the loss of your loved one. Ron was a friend and brother to me and i never met a nicer person. He was a kind and caring person who would do anything he could to help others. Ron and i played in the same bands and he was an excellent drummer who loved his music. Ron was a distinguished person who was all about business and always pleasant to be around. Words cannot express how shocked i was to hear of his passing; we had just practiced two days before and was looking forward to a future engagement. My heart is heavy and i am missing my friend. He is in God's hands now but his memories will live on in our hearts.
