Robin Luinstra Obituary
Bossier City, LA-Beloved wife of Mark D. Luinstra, passed away peacefully with family by her side on August 16, 2013. Mother of Shelby, Kelly, and Marcy Luinstra. Daughter of Peggy Davis Jones and John L. Jones. Daughter-in-law of Robert P. and Rita White and Elaine Luinstra White. Sister of Brian Jones. Sister-in-law of Michael and Kerri Luinstra. Aunt of Tucker and Lillia Luinstra. Age 43 years. She was a devoted and compassionate nurse. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, August 24, 2013 at 2:00 PM at Asbury United Methodist Church, 3200 Airline Drive, Bossier City, LA 71111. The family deeply appreciates all the loving support that friends and members of Asbury UMC have given them.

Nikki & I never met face to face, we met online several years ago through a common friend. She thought it would be helpful to us both since we had both gone through breast cancer. I was just thinking about her a couple days ago & went on Facebook to see how things were going. When I seen she was no longer on my list, I figured The Lord had taken her home. She was always so positive and we had many great chats. I will forever remember her sweet style, loving & giving personality. It breaks my heart for the family's loss but knowing she resides in eternity with our creator brings peace. Thank you for sharing Nikki with me.

My prayers are with all of you. You couldn't have asked for a better friend, mother, daughter, wife... She was Nikki and she loved everyone and was always encouraging to those around her. She will be missed. I pray God's peace that passeth all understanding be with you in the days ahead.

I feel so honored and blessed to have been able to call Nikki my friend over the past 2 years! She was an amazing person and Christian and I know God has a new angel to welcome home! You will be greatly missed.

My thoughts, prayers and love go out to Nikki's family; especially her 3 girls she so proudly mentioned on Facebook. I remember Nikki as such a sweet girl in HS. I heard she bravely fought her cancer until she finally got too tired to do so. I so admired her strength and determination per her updates she'd give of her prognosis. May God bless Nikki and allow her to be an angel to watch over her daughters throughout the rest of their lives.
