So sorry to hear of Sal's passing, as a client of mine I found him to be warm and caring. He and Joan were always a pleasure to deal with. He will certainly be missed.

Saddened to learn of Salvatore's death. Always looked forward to talking with him at ND reunions/events over the last 1/2 century. One of the smartest, caring and kind souls I've known. Pax tecum, Sal.

I remember Sal when he worked the soda fountain at Liggett's on corner of Campbell Ave and Center. It's a job me and my brother later had. Good to see he went on to have a successful career as a chemist, although it was obvious even back in the early '50s he would be.
