Jason Dolan Obituary

VERNON - Jason Brian Dolan, 45 years old, died Dec. 3, at Newton Medical Center after a long illness. Born to Brian and Jeanette Dolan in Pequannock, he had been a lifelong resident of Vernon.
Jason was a 1990 graduate of Vernon Township High School, then worked as a pizza chef for Pizza Station in Vernon for many years. He was an avid Mets and Giants fan and a dedicated family man.
Jason was predeceased by his father, Brian Dolan (2003), and was the beloved husband for six years of Stacy Dolan (Gippetti); stepfather of Samantha Drew, of Vernon; dear brother of Carianne Reeber and her husband, Robert, of Wayne, Erin Heindel and her husband, Brad, of Newtown, Pa., Megan Larsen and her husband, Daniel, of Plymouth, Mass., Sean Dolan and his wife, Elizabeth, of Vernon, and Breinne Dolan, of Danbury, Conn.; loving son of Jeanette Dolan, of Vernon; son-in-law of Lynn and Robert Yuhas, of Las Vegas, Nev.; brother-in- law of Frank Gippetti, of Lancaster, Pa., and Maria Yuhas, of Las Vegas, Nev.; cherished by many nieces and nephews; and dearest friend of "His Boy Elroy."
The family will receive their friends from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., today, at Ferguson-Vernon Funeral Home, 241 Route 94 (1 Vanderhoof Court for GPS), Vernon. Funeral from the funeral home will be at 9 a.m., on Wednesday, Dec. 6, with a Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Fatima R.C. Church, Vernon, at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at Christ the King Cemetery, Franklin Lakes. Memorial gifts to Sarcoma Foundation of America, 9899 Main St., Suite 204, Damascus, MD 20872, www.curesarcoma.org, would be appreciated. Rip my friend you'll be missed by so many people I'm glad I got to see you when i was up to visit this yr I didnt even plan it there you were working that day and i was shopping i asked where paper plates were n you said i looked familiar i said we went to school together i said i knew your name you laughed and i told you mine and you said its been long time I said yes it has I'm visiting from fl n its 20 yrs since ive been back to N.J. you said it was nice to see you n i said like wise i said ill see you again I'm here for 2 wks ill be in again I was 2 more times but you werent there either time but I'm glad I got to see you may you Rip my thoughts and prayers are with your Family xoxo Melissa packer ruokonen
