My deepest sympathies to you all. I have fond memories of Mr. Mike. Mrs. Anita, Rachel, and Rebekah, your father was a really great dad, very admirable, very sincere, funny, witty, honest, etc., and his Love he showed you Mrs. Anita was always so genuine. What a great Person I am very blessed to have known him.

It is sad to see the passing of such a fighting spirit. It sounds like he was much beloved, generous, kind, and fun. His energy radiated outwards and touched me, though I did not even know him--so beloved and admired by his family that I feel I almost knew him. Anita and family, What a man! His strength, perseverance, will to live, sense of humor and generosity of spirit come to mind when I think of him. I will always cherish his willingness to help me with my dissertation. I am confident that heaven is even more joyous with Mike there!

I'm going to miss my little buddy, but I'll never forget him. Know that if everything ended with our death, earthly life would be without hope or comfort. We were so glad that we became friends while living in New Orleans. It was sleays great to see both Mike and Anita when we were back to visit.
