Joseph Tuminia Obituary
Joseph Peter, 81, of Garfield passed away on November 14, 2011.
Born and raised in Garfield, Mr. Tuminia was a lifelong resident and also maintained a second home in Lake Harmony, PA. Prior to retiring, he had been employed as an Industrial Salesman with ICI/Glidden Paints in Wayne. He was a parishioner of Ss. Peter & Paul R.O. Cathedral in Passaic.
Mr. Tuminia was predecea-sed by his parents, Charles and Rose (nee Benigno) Tuminia, and by a sister, Roberta Tuminia.
He is survived by his wife, Mariann (nee Varhall) Tuminia, of Garfield; a sister, Roberta (Bobbie) Cozic of Westwood and her children, Kerrie and Christopher Cozic; a niece, Deborah Weyland; and a nephew William Weyland and his wife, Elke.
Funeral services will be Friday 10:30 AM at the Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton. Interment to follow at Ss. Peter & Paul RO Cemetery, Saddle Brook. Visiting Thursday 2-4 and 6-8 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to charity of your choice would be appreciated. Please visit www.bizub.com for driving directions and online condolences.
