Michael Sargenti Obituary
SARGENTI
Michael Jason, 45, on June 10, 2014 of Mahwah. Beloved husband of Laurie. Loving father of Gabrielle and Michael Jr. Cherished son of Robert and Barbara Sargenti. Dear brother of Robert Sargenti Jr. and wife Cori and Stephen Sargenti and wife Cecelia. Michael is also survived by his nieces and nephews. Michael was an active member of the sports community in Mahwah in addition to being president of RSM in Paramus, NJ. He coached a wide range of sports including baseball, basketball, football, lacrosse, soccer and street hockey. He was an avid Yankees and Giants fan. Michael spent the last 6 years of his life battling brain cancer and creating memories for his children, family and friends. His doors were always open to everyone. Michael battled each stage of cancer with strength and grace. He was a loving husband, father, son, brother and friend. He was a friend to many and will be missed by all who knew him. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 12-3 and 6-9 PM and on Friday morning from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Van Emburgh-Sneider-Pernice Funeral Home, 109 Darlington Ave, Ramsey. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday June 13, 2014 at 11 AM at St. Paul R.C. Church in Ramsey. Interment will follow at Maryrest Cemetery in Mahwah. Michael was a good friend at the peddie school and I have some great memories of those formative years. He had an infectious smile and a truly kind heart. Although I have not been in touch since those days, I will miss knowing that somewhere he was smiling andloving life.

Many great memories as a boy at the Sargenti house, the town rec. during the summer and baseball with Robbie, Michael and Steve. Listening to bill cosby records in the basement and playing football in the yard. Condolences to the entire Sargenti family. Peace.
