Ryan not a day goes by that I don't walk the halls of this fire station and think about your smile and your presence here. My daughter asked for a skateboard this year for her birthday and as she rode it down the crash stalls it reminded me so much of seeing you here doing so many of your sick tricks. You will always be missed and remembered. rest easy Ryan.

Eddie,
Jack called me to tell me about Ryan. I found his obituary on the web. I am so sorry for your family's loss. I see that Ryan served his country and was a firefighter. My youngest son Alex is a firefighter, and you know about how my son-in-law died. Every day will be different for you now than it used to be. When you experience those differences, remember him with love knowing that he is at peace.

I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the chain link fence at the skatepark today. Ryan was an inspiration to many in skateboadring and in the rest of life, myself included. His drive to try new things (outside of one's own comfort zone) and to never give up are two qualities that his life exemplified. He will not soon be forgotten. This one's for Ryan.

Ryan was such a wonderful person, he was so full of life in everything he did. My son Miles has been blessed to live his life along side Ryan's since kindergarten. They truly kept each other in toe, one would accomplish a sick trick, the other would stay focused to master something greater. That is what they thrived on through thick and thin in the end it is all about the quality time we do spend with each other. Take the time to say I love you, take the time to call, take the time be grateful for the moments we have together. Ryan touched all of us and will continue to live within our lives because of his wonderful spirit and love he shared throughout his life. My condolences to his wonderful family and thank you for bringing him into our lives. May you find peace and celebrate his life.
