NINA WAIN Nina Wain (nee Saul), 74, of Shaker Heights, OH and Palm Beach Gardens, FL passed away on July 6, 2009 after a valiant three-year battle with cancer. She was born in Cleveland to the late Sylvia and Albert Saul. She attended Cleveland Heights High School, studied piano and clarinet at Interlochen, and was a music major at University of Michigan. Mrs. Wain taught piano for more than 20 years and owned a needlepoint shop in The Millcreek Racquet Club. She was an active volunteer at Mt. Sinai Hospital and Bellefaire, where she volunteered for 32 years and served on the board for 12 years. She was co-chair of the Silver Circle of Cleveland's Jewish Community Federation and has donated her time and musical talent to many charitable organizations. Mrs. Wain was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend to many. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Norman Wain, and four children, Beth Brandon (Bob), Amy Garnitz (David), Cathy Stamler (Jonathan) and David (Zandy Hartig) as well as eight grandchildren, Leslie, Sarah and Allison Brandon, Anna and Ben Garnitz, Samantha and Alexandra Stamler, and Henry Wain.
