Amy Kuehn Obituary

Amy Josephine Kuehn

Amy Josephine Kuehn, 22, tragically lost her life on July 24th, 2017, at Orlando Regional Medical Center in Orange County. Amy lived passionately free, rarely being seen without her skateboard and headphones.

Left behind to remember Amy's name and honor her life are her mother, Toni Maines of Pensacola, FL; father, Aaron Kuehn of Deland, FL; siblings, Avery Bohannon, of Fort Walton Beach, FL, and Brody Kuehn, of Pensacola, FL; great-grandmother, Rose Lochirco of Pensacola, FL; grandparents, Jack and Patricia Kuehn of Fort Worth, TX; aunt and uncle Angela "GG" and Bradley Rowell of Defuniak Springs, FL; aunt, Jodi Maines of Keene, NH; uncle and aunt Brian and Dawn Kuehn of Roanoke, TX; multiple cousins and extended family.

Amy was a registered organ donor and her passing made a way to gift life to another. Amy's life was celebrated in a private family ceremony on the Gulf of Mexico, where her mermaid spirit will find peace with the waves.

Toni, I am so sorry that your baby girl was taken from this world too soon. I didn't know her personally, but if she was anything like her amazing Mom, she was full of love and lived her life to its fullest. I wish I could give you a big hug right now. Know that my thoughts are with you as you celebrate Amy's life. I love you ❤

It's a shame we never met. It is clear you touched the lives of people I know and losing you was a heartbreak to a community. May you find yourself in Freya's gracious care, and rest until your loved ones rejoin you.

All i want to do is give you the biggest hug. Something my mother said to me before she died, was if you miss me go outside amd look for me. I will be the sun heating your face. I will be the wind blowing your hair. I will be the rain hitting you face. Sometimes till this day I go outside and look for her. So when you are sad and missing her. Go outside look for her. She may be there.I believe our love ones really never leave us. She will always be with you.You are her mom. And you will always be her mom.

It was not my privilege to get to know this beautiful young woman, nor have I ever known the pain associated with loosing a child. Treasure all those precious memories that were made during her short lifetime on this earth. Miss her everyday throughout your lifetime, but continue to live the life that she would desire for you to have. Hugs and prayers to all of youknow that you have a special place in my heart.

Although I never met you in person Amy, just hearing your mom talk about how proud she was of both you and Brody made me feel like I actually did know you. May your soul rest peacefully in the water and every time I see or hear the waves, I will be reminded of what a free spirited girl you were. Fly high Amy and watch over your mom and Brody

While I didn't know your daughter she will be a hero for our family. Our 14yr old son received the gift of Organ Donation in june of this summer. We will pray for this angel. Just know that you provided hope for a family. You brought new life to someone who didn't have much time left. Thank you to you and your family for instilling the value of life. - Love the Burrier Family.
