Dorothy Caputo Obituary

Dorothy V. Caputo, 82, formerly of Pensacola, died Wednesday, November 03, 2010 in Katy, Texas.
Dorothy was born July 30, 1928 in Mobile, Alabama to Arthur Farmer and May Bell Womble Farmer. She had been a resident of Pensacola and member of The Cathedral of the Sacred Heart for over 50 years. During her residence in Pensacola, Dorothy, volunteered at Sacred Heart Hospital and was on the Board of the Fiesta of Five Flags for several years.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Charles J. Caputo; father, Arthur Farmer and mother, May Bell Womble Farmer.
Dorothy is survived by her four children, Barbara Stackhouse of Orlando, FL, William Caputo of Pensacola, Denise Richmond and husband Bill of Huffman, TX, and Karen Cox and husband Dan of Morrison, CO; grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m., Tuesday, November 09, 2010 at Bayview Fisher-Pou Chapel with Monsignor Michael Reed officiating.
Entombment will follow at Bayview Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Monday, November 08, 2010 at the funeral home.
BAYVIEW FISHER-POU CHAPEL, 3351 Scenic Highway is in charge of arrangements.

To the Caputo Family...I am so sorry to hear about your mother. But know that when she got to heaven there was a joyous celebration. Everyone came to greet her and the angels sang a joyful song when Jesus came to welcome her home.
