DAVID JOHN PATRICK
Age, 77, of Scottsdale, Arizona, formerly of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania passed quietly after suffering a catastrophic stroke in June 2014. One of eight children with one surviving sister, Patricia Hibler. Dave brought his family to Scottsdale in 1976 with a company transfer. Dave was the gentleman of all gentlemen. He was always known for his big smile and winning personality. No one was ever a stranger to Dave. He loved people and people loved him. He was a mentor to many young people including his grandchildren. He was married to the love of his life, Winkie, for 55 years. Nothing was more important to Dave than his family. Besides Winkie, he is survived by three daughters, Tracey (Jeff), Terri (Salvador) and Kimberly, and nine grandchildren, Mollie, Zachary, Jake, David, Marie, Alexandra, Luis, Grace, and Lily. He adored his daughters and grandchildren, never missing a game or activity. Known to them as "Papa" and "Papa" will live on in their hearts as will all who knew him. Rest in peace, honey, we love you. A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m., at St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church, 6261 N. Granite Reef Rd., Scottsdale, on Monday, October 24, 2016 following a Rosary at 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to HonorHealth Foundation to benefit stroke division at Osborn 8125 N. Hayden Rd., Scottsdale, Arizona 85258.

Mr. Keane was an amazing role model to me as a father, as a husband and as an overall person of character. If I didn't have a father, and if God were to ask me who I could choose to be my father, I would pick Mr. Keane without hesitation.
I love you Mr. Keane. Thank you for being such a blessing in my life.

I was lucky enough to spend time with "Papa Dave" when his daughter, Tracey's, family came into my life 4 years ago. When looking at his children and grandchildren, it is so clear that he instilled an amazing zest for life, sense of humor, and kind heart in everyone he loved. Rest in Peace.

I first met Dave & Winkie on a trip to Italy. Dave was one of the finest gentleman I have ever known. We did not see them often, but when we did it was like they were our best friends. RIP Dave your life mattered. Prayers for sweet Winkie and his beautiful family. Carl & Pauline Vandy.
