DAVID SIPPEY Obituary
Age 45, of Pleasant Hills, died tragically and was taken Friday, July 17, 2015, in a vehicular accident. He was on his way to Myrtle Beach with his family for their long awaited summer vacation. He was born November 22, 1969, in Pittsburgh, a son of James and Judy Sippey. He is survived by his loving wife, Kellie McCluskey Sippey; his daughters, Maddison (12) and Rylie (9) and son, Max (4); brother, Jim (Judy) Sippey; sister, Laura (Mike) Davis; his mother and father-in-law, John and Marilyn McCluskey; his sister-in-law, Kristy McCluskey; and loving nephews, niece and the rest of his loving relatives and friends. David was a graduate of Thomas Jefferson High School and earned his Culinary Degree from CIA in Hyde Park, NY. Dave worked for Allegheny Health Network, Jefferson Hospital where he was a Purchasing Agent. Dave lived a simple life, what mattered most was his adoring wife and his three beautiful and amazing children, along with his family and friends. Dave enjoyed the outdoors, particularly hunting, fishing and camping. He enjoyed watching his children in whatever activities they were involved. Visitation will be Wednesday from 1-4 and 6-9 p.m. at the JEFFERSON MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, INC., 301 Curry Hollow Rd., Pleasant Hills. Funeral Service will be Thursday at 10 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to "The Sippey Family Fund", established for the Sippey children at Citizen's Bank or donations may be made at www.GoFundMe.com/znwy44. I am the sister of Jay Warhola who has many wonderful memories of Dave and Jay when they were young. They came and visited us everywhere we moved to for their summer vacation and were a joy to have. I can not put into words how sorry I was to hear of this terrible tragedy! I was lucky enough to grow up across the street from the Sippey family and they are wonderful people. I am so sorry I was not able to attend the funeral and pay my respects, I am out of town. You have all been in my thoughts and prayers!

I heard about this horrible accident on the radio as I was leaving Myrtle Beach and my heart just broke thinking this family was probably on their way to a family vacation. Dear Sippey Family,
Our hearts are broken. It is an incomprehensible tragedy. No words can comfort at this time, but I do know Dave was part of one of the closest, most-loving families ever, and your strength will come from each other. I know some of Johanna's best childhood memories were times spent with her Sippey cousins and Dave's legacy will be one of love of his family and the absolute joy he found in simple pleasures.
