Robert F. Veselic, age 81, died on Wednesday, April 15, 2015, in Upland, CA, after dealing with multiple health issues in recent years. Robert was born on September 26, 1933, in Pittsburgh, PA to his parents, Nicholas and Angeline Veselic. Robert, or Bob has he became known, graduated from Central Catholic High School in Pittsburgh, PA in 1950. Bob married Ethlarine (Rene) Brown, also from Pittsburgh, on November 6, 1954. Bob and Rene were blessed to have three children, Robert Michael, Kevin Francis, and Barbara Lynn. The family moved from Pittsburgh, PA to Walnut, CA in 1970, when Bob accepted a transfer and promotion. He worked in the railroad industry for 32 years until he retired as a National Sales Manager for CSX Transportation in December, 1987. All who knew Bob will remember him as a kind, friendly, and generous man. Robert was preceded in death by his son, Bob (Dec. 26, 1996); and his wife, Rene (Nov. 17, 1997). Robert is survived by his son Kevin and daughter-in-law Patty of Glendora, his daughter Barb and son-in-law Chuck of Rancho Cucamonga; as well as his three grandchildren, Dana, Joel, and Hannah who will all deeply miss him.

Bob Veselic Family Please accept our sincerest condolences on the passing of Bob. We have known Bob and Rene for many years. When we made a trip to California in 1970, Bob had just been transferred to California and was staying at a Holiday Inn waiting for Rene and their furniture. We were going to stay at that same motel and he had our names displayed on the marquis welcoming us. That was Bob, always on the ball. Don & Gladys Thomas, Pittsburgh, PA
