Irene Hosay Obituary
Irene Robinson Haskins Hosay, 87, of Endwell, passed away on Tuesday, October 13, 2015. Irene is predeceased by her parents, Ray and Malvina Robinson; husband, Joseph Hosay; first husband, George H. Haskins; daughter, Janice Travis; grandson, George J. Haskins; sister, Jean Stone. She is survived by her sons, George R. (Marilyn) Haskins and Lynn (Dawn) Haskins; sister, Betty (Don) Knott; eight grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews. Irene retired from the Singer Link Company in Kirkwood, NY after 25 years of Employment. While employed she traveled the world as an electrician working on Link trainers. After retiring she and her husband Joseph enjoyed traveling which included 26 cruises. Her hobbies were bowling, quilting and cake decorating. She loved spending time with her family and dear friends. Funeral Services for Irene will be held on Monday at 10 AM at the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 E. Main Street, Endicott with Reverend Jennifer Kauffman of the Great Bend Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery, Hallstead, PA. at 12PM on Monday. The family will receive friends at the Allen Memorial Home on Sunday from 2-4 PM. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in Irene's memory may be made to the Great Bend United Methodist Church, 406 Main Street Great Bend, PA 18821
