We are so sorry to hear of Will's passing. He was a strong, generous and kind man. We cherished the 10 years we were his neighbor and will miss our long talks about sports, politics and life in general....especially over a beer!
May you be at peace Will and when I visit you at Cavalry I will knock 3 times!
Love- Ross and Mary Ricco

Mr Herman was one of the first people I came across that embodied the term "Strive for Excellence" (long before it became a cliche). He knew talent on the sports field and wanted to always see the kids push for their best. Playing softball with his son Billy, you could see that strive every game Billy played. I was lucky enough to hear a few of Mr Herman's war stories and basketball highlights. My condolences to the Herman family, and especially to Billy, the founder of the Rooster Softball team.

Ann and I send our condolences to Gerry and the family. I will miss my uncle, Will, and our get-togethers to "solve" the worlds most pressing problems. He was a great and generous guy.
