Sometimes when someone you love passes on to heaven you find that there are no words you can say. Everyone has their own feelings and memories about that person and each one is special in its own way.
To me Bob Pendlebury was more than the father of Barbara who blessed my life for so many years. He was always thinking of others feelings before his own, how can you not admire that? His day to day actions showed his love for his wife and his children. It was a priviledge to have him my life and truthfully I looked up to him as a father. So how could you sum this up? What words could you use?
Yesterday as I sat at the cemetery next to his daughters and son-in-law listening to the words being spoken about him, it came to me. After hearing the rifle shots into the cold winter air three words came into my mind...
Love, Honor and Respect..
I will never forget you Grandpa Bob and although it hurts to no longer to be able to talk like we did it gives me so much peace knowing you are with DeeDee and the love of my life, your beautiful daughter, Barbara..
I love you, take care....

Hugs and lots of love and prayers going out the whole family as you say goodbye to this really awesome man. I am so glad that I got to sit with him one afternoon and just listen to him talk. He was fun and witty and very kind. His positive memories will always remain in my heart. I know he is hugging his beautiful wife and beautiful daughter right now in Heaven. He will surely be missed.
