Betty Fitch Obituary
Betty retired from both Nationwide Insurance and Singer Link. She was a longtime member of Ross Memorial Presbyterian Church where she was an Elder, sang in the choir and served on several committees. Betty volunteered for The Reporter newspaper and was crowned the "Queen of Garage Sales" in the Triple Cities.
Funeral Services will be held 1:00 pm, Monday, January 28, 2013 at the DeMunn Funeral Home, 36 Conklin Avenue, Binghamton with the Reverends Ronald Thomas and Michael Krembs officiating. Interment will follow services in Vestal Hills Memorial Park. Family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:00 unitl 1:00 pm. Memorial contributions in Betty's name may be made to Broome County Humane Society, 2 Jackson Street, Binghamton, NY 13903 or to the charity of one's choice. 6-28-2013 A friend who lives on Kendall Avenue told me just today of Betty's passing, and my heart is saddened by the loss of my dear friend. We had some good times going to garage sales, and i have lots of things i purchased that will always remind me of her. god be with you John, and the rest of her family as well.
